These Financial Terms apply to all counselling booked through St Martin’s Centre for Health and Healing, trading as St Martin’s Counselling.
1. Overview
We are a registered charity providing counselling on a range of fee pathways. Our fees help cover the cost of providing professional counselling while keeping the service as accessible as possible.
The fee payable will be the fee confirmed to you when your counselling pathway is agreed and your appointment is booked.
2. Payment
Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Where auto-payment has been set up, your payment card will normally be charged on the next working day after each attended session.
We do not store your full card details directly.
3. Cancellation of Appointments
If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, you must give at least 48 hours’ notice.
If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the full session fee may still be charged.
4. Ending Counselling
You may end counselling at any time.
If you do not wish to continue with further sessions, please let us know as soon as possible.
Where future appointments are already booked, we ask for at least 7 days’ notice so that those sessions can be cancelled and no further charges arise.
5. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Stripe may retry the charge automatically.
If payment cannot be collected, we may contact you to resolve the issue.
Where fees remain unpaid, we may pause or cancel future counselling sessions until payment arrangements are brought up to date.
6. Data and Privacy
Payment transactions are processed securely and in line with applicable data protection and payment security standards.
