Your space to make sense of things

A safe, confidential space for reflection and change

Counselling gives you regular time to talk with a trained practitioner about what is affecting you. You do not need a diagnosis, a referral, or a perfectly formed reason to begin. Sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place weekly, online or face-to-face in Birmingham

Is counselling right for me?

People seek counselling for many reasons. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, low, anxious, or simply aware that something isn’t quite right. You don’t need to have clear answers, a specific problem, or a crisis to begin.

Counselling can be helpful at many points in life,

  • dealing with a particular difficulty

  • feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck

  • noticing repeated patterns in relationships, work, or emotions

  • carrying something that feels hard to manage alone

  • wanting space to understand yourself better

If you’re unsure whether counselling is the right step, that’s completely normal. We’re happy to talk things through and help you decide whether our service feels like a good fit.

Face to Face

Sessions take place in a private counselling room at our centre in Birmingham City Centre.
This can be helpful if you prefer face to face or to keep therapy separate from home or work.

  • Purpose-built rooms

  • Easier to switch off

How and where sessions happen

Online

We offer online sessions via a secure video system. This can be more flexible if you have caring responsibilities, mobility issues, or live further away.

  • No travel time

  • From home or work

Confidentiality & safety

What you talk about in counselling is private. We take confidentiality very seriously and follow clear ethical and legal guidelines.

There are a few situations where we may need to share information – for example, if we believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, or if we are legally required to do so. Wherever possible, we will talk this through with you.

If you have any concerns or questions about confidentiality, you can discuss them with your counsellor at any time.

Choose the right level of support for you

We offer different counselling pathways so you can choose the level of experience, choice, and fee that feels right for you. All counselling is delivered within the same ethical, safeguarding, and clinical governance framework.

You can either view our fees first, or answer four quick questions and we’ll suggest a starting point.
