Your space to make sense of things
A safe, confidential space for reflection and change
We offer weekly, 50-minute counselling sessions - a protected space to reflect, understand patterns, and make meaningful, lasting change.
You set the pace. We walk alongside you.
Is counselling right for me?
People seek counselling for many reasons. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, low, anxious, or simply aware that something isn’t quite right. You don’t need to have clear answers, a specific problem, or a crisis to begin.
Counselling can be helpful at many points in life,
whether you’re navigating a particular difficulty,
noticing repeated patterns,
or wanting space to reflect and understand yourself better.
If you’re unsure whether counselling is the right step, that’s completely normal. We’re happy to talk things through and help you decide whether our service feels like a good fit.
In-person
Sessions take place in a private counselling room at our centre in Birmingham City Centre.
This can be helpful if you prefer face to face or to keep therapy separate from home or work.

Online
We offer online sessions via a secure video system. This can be more flexible if you have caring responsibilities, mobility issues, or live further away.
No travel time
From home or work
Confidentiality & safety
What you talk about in counselling is private. We take confidentiality very seriously and follow clear ethical and legal guidelines.
There are a few situations where we may need to share information – for example, if we believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm, or if we are legally required to do so. Wherever possible, we will talk this through with you.
If you have any concerns or questions about confidentiality, you can discuss them with your counsellor at any time.
Choose the right level of support for you
We offer counselling at fair and transparent prices, so you can choose the level of support that feels right for you.
Rather than a single fixed fee, we offer a small range of options, giving you choice while helping us balance accessibility with the care, experience and professional standards that underpin our work. Our fees reflect:
Different levels of counsellor experience
The importance of keeping counselling accessible
Our commitment to safe, well-supervised practice
All counselling is delivered within the same supportive, well-governed framework, with appropriate clinical supervision and care.
Most people choose counselling at our Standard rate, which offers consistent, professionally delivered support. Some prefer to work with a fully qualified counsellor at a professional rate, particularly if they are looking for a higher level of experience or specialist support.
We also offer a lower-cost option for people on low incomes, so that cost is not a barrier to getting help.
You can view full fees, eligibility, and access options on our Fees & Access page.
A note about fees and outcomes
Fees are reviewed from time to time and depend on availability.
Counselling is a supportive process and, while it can be very helpful, outcomes will vary for each person.
