Life Transitions and Change

What this means

Life Changes can be unsettling even when it is chosen. Life transitions — such as separation, retirement, relocation, changes in health, becoming a parent, leaving a role, or entering a new stage of life — can affect identity, confidence, and emotional balance.

Counselling offers space to process change, understand what is shifting, and adjust at your own pace.

What this counselling focuses on

  • emotional impact of transition and uncertainty

  • identity changes and loss of familiar roles

  • grief for what has ended, even alongside relief

  • anxiety about what comes next

  • building steadier footing during change

Who this may be helpful for
This may help if you feel unsettled by change, find adjustment difficult, or feel emotionally “out of sync” with what your life now requires.

When this may not be the right support
Counselling does not replace practical, legal, financial, or housing advice.
