Refugee and Migrant Wellbeing Counselling

Introduction

Migration and displacement can involve loss, uncertainty, and constant adjustment — even when safety has been found. You may be carrying experiences that are hard to talk about, alongside the demands of rebuilding life in a new place. Isolation, culture shock, and pressure to cope can make emotional support feel out of reach.

Counselling offers a culturally sensitive space to reflect on what you have been through and what you are living with now.

What this counselling focuses on

  • emotional impact of displacement and change

  • loss of home, identity, community, or safety

  • trauma, grief, and uncertainty

  • navigating new systems, cultures, and relationships

  • building stability and internal safety over time
