Refugee and Migrant Wellbeing Counselling
Introduction
Migration and displacement can involve loss, uncertainty, and constant adjustment — even when safety has been found. You may be carrying experiences that are hard to talk about, alongside the demands of rebuilding life in a new place. Isolation, culture shock, and pressure to cope can make emotional support feel out of reach.
Counselling offers a culturally sensitive space to reflect on what you have been through and what you are living with now.
What this counselling focuses on
emotional impact of displacement and change
loss of home, identity, community, or safety
trauma, grief, and uncertainty
navigating new systems, cultures, and relationships
building stability and internal safety over time
Who this may be helpful for
This may help if you have migrated or been displaced and feel overwhelmed, isolated, under pressure, or affected by what you have experienced.
When this may not be the right support
Counselling does not replace legal, housing, or asylum advice. We do not provide evidence for asylum claims.
